چکیده
Abstract Macroscopic superconducting components are an important building block of various quantum circuits. Since several the envisioned applications require exposure to magnetic fields, it is utmost importance explore impact fields on their performance. Here we complex pattern field penetration and identify its resonance frequency NbTiN resonators by combining magneto-optical imaging high-frequency measurements. At temperatures below approximately half critical temperature, development flux avalanches manifests itself as a noisy response in field-dependent frequency. Magneto-optical reveals different regimes distinguishes ground plane resonator. Our findings demonstrate that represent valuable tool investigate dynamics. Moreover, current blooming niobium-based radio-frequency devices makes this report timely unveiling severe implications

Dendritic flux avalanches and nonlocal electrodynamics in thin superconducting films.
We report a mechanism of nonisothermal dendritic flux penetration in superconducting films. Our numerical and analytical analysis of coupled nonlinear Maxwell and thermal diffusion equations shows that dendritic flux pattern formation results from spontaneous branching of propagating flux filaments due to nonlocal magnetic flux diffusion and positive feedback between flux motion and Joule heati...
